But the crowd breath bated like stuck pigs in glue

It was a great ship flashing with exquisite light
As it spun in circles in the kettle sky
And it spat out ashes black and snowy white and grey

And the ship lay crushing down the Mission Bell
And its fire baked fury on its gushing shell
Yet the town folk hushedly within its spell remained

Rain poured sheets upon the ashy ground
